On November 26, 2022, the 2022 China Automation Conference was grandly opened in Xiamen International Conference Center Hotel, Fujian Province. The theme of this conference is “Empowering Digital Intelligence to Create a Future Together”. It is sponsored by China Association for Automation and Fujian Association for Science and Technology, undertaken by Huaqiao University, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Fujian Association for Automation and Fujian Institute of Mechanical Engineering, and co sponsored by Xiamen Association for Science and Technology, Xiamen Association for Automation, Xiamen University and Jimei University. Zheng Nanning, an academician of the CAE Member, chairman of the Chinese Society of Automation, professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Xu Xipeng, secretary of the Party Committee of Huaqiao University, served as the general chairman of the conference.

This conference will arrange 7 conference reports and 32 special forums in a combination of online and offline, covering multiple frontier and hot areas such as, dual carbon, localization, intelligent manufacturing, etc; By means of online paper communication, around 30 directions such as industrial robots and service robots, the paper posters were displayed, with more than 10000 visitors and more than 1400 papers received; On the first day of the conference, the number of online and offline viewers exceeded 8.6487 million on the real-time live broadcast of the financial media platform, which attracted extensive attention and support from the majority of scientific and technological workers in the field and led the vigorous development of automation, information and intelligent technology.
