At present, the potential market demand for machine vision in China is huge, and the application demand space is wide. The scale of industrial automation market is also expanding year by year. According to the data, the scale of industrial automation increased from 140.5 billion yuan to 207.3 billion yuan from 2015 to 2020. In 2021, the scale of China’s automation and industrial control market has also increased to 253 billion yuan, up 22% year on year.

The software and hardware technology of machine vision has made continuous breakthroughs. The vision products with industrial cameras, image acquisition cards, light sources and image processing software as the core are increasingly improved, and the cost is also continuing to decline, contributing to the accelerated development of industrial vision.

The process of localization has accelerated, and the proportion of independent product sales has continued to increase. The proportion of self-developed products has been expanding. From 2019 to 2021, the sales of independent products increased from 8.59 billion yuan to 13.47 billion yuan, with a CAGR of 25.2%. At present, the market of domestic machine vision is mainly concentrated in the field of 2D technology, and more than 80% of the market share in the field of 3D technology is still occupied by foreign enterprises.
