The 2023 IDC China Industrial Internet Summit was held in Shenzhen on May 25 with the theme of “integrating data with reality and reconstructing industrial ecology”. At the summit, senior analysts from IDC shared their observations on new technology trends; Shi Yong, vice president of the Information Research Institute of Machinery Industry, Li Wenzheng, professor of the School of Computer Science of Beijing University of Technology, and other industry experts, as well as leading Industrial Internet service providers and user enterprise experts at home and abroad, shared their forward-looking views and practical experience in application and landing. The “Future Digital Industry Navigator” award was officially announced during the conference.

Shi Yong, vice president of the Information Research Institute of the Machinery Industry, pointed out four strategies to promote the Digital transformation innovation of manufacturing enterprises from the three major dilemmas of manufacturing enterprises’ Digital transformation: “multi point entry, multi line linkage, multi way promotion, and multi way collaboration”.
As a hot topic of industry exploration and practice, the industrial metaverse has developed rapidly in recent years, constantly emerging with forward-looking explorations. Professor Li Wenzheng from the School of Computer Science at Beijing University of Technology focuses on the connotation, technical characteristics, and technological system of the industrial metaverse. Through innovative application scenarios, he shares his understanding of the cloud universe and the industrial metaverse.
