ABB introduces ABB ability Intelligent Wastewater solution. This innovative digital solution will help the wastewater treatment plant meet various challenges in the wastewater treatment process, reduce energy consumption and optimize operation.
ABB ability Intelligent Wastewater solution includes two core components: advanced process control (APC) and digital twinning and simulation technology, which can accurately predict the future operation demand. Through continuous monitoring and automation, reduce process fluctuations and stabilize operation to help the wastewater treatment plant achieve the best operating conditions, so as to realize steady and gradual operation adjustment and income, so as to reduce energy consumption, reduce dosage and improve profitability.

According to the report of the International Energy Agency (IEA), the power consumption of the global wastewater treatment industry will reach 222 TWH in 2020, and the power consumption of the whole industry is expected to increase by 80% by 2040.
