As a global technology leader, ABB focuses on the areas that can exert the greatest influence, including enabling low-carbon society, protecting natural resources and promoting social progress.

Enable sustainable development and build a better world together

According to United Nations data, the pressure on the human environment will continue to increase in the coming decades: the global population is expected to increase from 7.8 billion today to 9.7 billion in 2050. About 80% of the population will live in cities, which will further aggravate the challenges of water resources, food, energy and transportation. Sustainable development is regarded as the fundamental solution to a series of global problems. As an important subject to promote sustainable development, enterprises should shoulder their own mission and use their technical expertise to jointly promote this long-term global cause.
