With new shaft combinations and dimensions, Bosch Rexroth expands its linear robot product portfolio to meet various application requirements in the field of factory automation. The rectangular coordinate system subsystem has a wide working area and load range, so it is also suitable for battery handling or internal logistics applications. With pre-defined axis combinations, linear robots can be quickly and easily selected, resized, configured and finalized online, ordered as pre assembled subsystems – or the new ctrlX AUTOMATION platform controller can be used. Each multi axis system can also be used as an intelligent function kit for handling or dispensing operations. With pre installed software, debugging and intuitive programming can be performed faster, which will greatly reduce the project time.

The extended range includes 8 different shaft combinations in 68 sizes. These products can be used in automobile (including battery production), pharmacy, FMCG and other industries. Applications range from picking and placing, positioning and pallet loading to feeding, shifting and loading, including dispensing tasks.

For internal logistics (including picking and packaging), the new multi axis system can be used for a wide range of work. The travel length in X and Y directions can reach 3 meters, and the travel length in Z direction can reach 1.5 meters. The expanded load range is as follows: three axle type, 160kg; Double axle: 200kg. Therefore, rectangular coordinate robots can be used to perform a range of tasks, including moving individual parts, bins, and boxes.

The preassembled multi axis system with the optional intelligent function kit is used for carrying or dispensing operations. The system requires less maintenance and can achieve a high level of process quality and productivity. This is due to the special design characteristics such as rigidity, dynamics and repeatability, as well as the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform, which is particularly suitable for complex movements.

With the help of predefined reference processes and LinSelect, standardized procedures for relevant subsystems can be quickly and easily selected and adjusted. After the final design is completed using the online configurator, 3D CAD data can be retrieved, inquiry can be made, or the system can be ordered through an electronic store. In order to minimize installation time, Bosch Rexroth provides selected robot systems in pre assembled form. Complete energy chain and cable management is available upon request. For the convenience of debugging, the system stores the relevant shaft parameters in the motor encoder memory for automatic reading of such parameters. With various connecting parts and interfaces, assembly becomes easier.

With the help of the software plug-in of the intelligent function kit for handling or dispensing, users can save more time. As part of the pre installed software package, the wizard tool can guide users to complete the debugging process intuitively. The system is parameterized and automatically guides the axis information. With the help of existing functional modules, sorting can be done on the basis of visualization in just a few minutes. Because of the flexible combination of hardware platform and innovative software, even complex linear actions can be reproduced through simple graphic programming. With the help of appropriate functional modules, linear integration can also be easily carried out.
