Yin, global executive vice president of Schneider Electric and President of China, delivered a keynote speech on “how to better promote the acquisition and use of digital technology by small and medium-sized enterprises” at the Entrepreneur Summit, offering suggestions and suggestions for small and medium-sized enterprises to realize digital transformation.
“Accelerating digital development and building a digital China” is an important content of the 14th five year plan and the long-term goal outline of 2035. For enterprises, industrial digitization is the general trend. Moreover, Yin Zheng believes that digitization is also the best weapon to promote carbon neutralization. “Digital technology can not only improve production and energy efficiency, but also promote industrial electrification and new energy use.” according to the survey of Schneider Electric Business Value Research Institute, more than 93% of enterprises believe that digitization can “comprehensively” help enterprises realize energy optimization.
However, at present, the digital development of most small and medium-sized enterprises is still in the exploratory stage, and still faces challenges such as cognitive gap, insufficient ability and limited funds. In this regard, Yin Zheng suggested that the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises should first practice their internal skills. In this link, lean management is the foundation. Through lean management to improve the lean level of the whole system, get the best practice of business process, and then solidify these best practices into the system by means of informatization and digitization, so as to obtain stable and sustainable high-quality output.
As an expert in digital transformation, Schneider Electric has helped many small and medium-sized enterprises to improve quality and efficiency through lean management, laying a solid foundation for digital transformation.
In addition to continuously improving their own capabilities, Yin Zheng suggested that small and medium-sized enterprises should actively seek external support in the process of promoting digital transformation. Due to the lack of technical, financial and ecological support, it is difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to spontaneously develop application scenarios and realize large-scale replication. Therefore, they need an intermediate platform with both software and hardware capabilities and open ecology to help them improve their technical strength. “Schneider Electric’s ecostruxure based on the industrial Internet of things is such a platform to promote digital transformation. At present, more than 20000 system integration engineers and developers, 650000 service providers and partners around the world rely on this platform to provide customers with products and services.”
Relying on the advantages of digital technology and rich experience, Schneider Electric is actively building a digital “circle of friends” to promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises into digital partners.
Only by sharing and creating together can we win the digital future.
