Emerson launches new Rosemount ™ The 3051 Pro pressure transmitter adds new features to the 3051, which has been trusted by users for over thirty years. The powerful new features make the Rosemount 3051 Pro easier to use, providing more process insights and adding diagnostic capabilities – all of which can help users complete debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks faster. The newly upgraded Rosemount 3051 Pro not only offers the same level of reliability and quality, but also these modern features can help teams improve efficiency and facility safety, maximizing overall plant operating revenue.

The user interface of the Rosemount 3051Pro pressure transmitter has been redesigned to provide a simplified, task-based menu structure. Both the host and configuration tools (such as mobile devices or Trex controllers) have the same navigation function, providing a faster and more intuitive user experience. The new high contrast graphics and large backlit display can run in eight different languages, and its visual icons can better understand the transmitter’s operating status, resulting in a more intuitive experience.

New Bluetooth ® Wireless technology simplifies configuration and service tasks, eliminating the need for physical connection to devices, climbing ladders or tanks, obtaining high-temperature work permits, or entering hazardous areas, making maintenance safer. With just a few simple inputs and built-in password protection, users can have an encrypted data connection from the transmitter to their mobile device or configuration tool.

In addition, the Rosemount 3051Pro has also upgraded some features that were previously limited to flow and liquid level measurement. Now, operators can easily configure equipment to measure flow rate and track total flow. Using the built-in configurator to set liquid level output makes liquid level measurement simpler. For common storage tanks or customized tanks that require volume measurement, volume measurement can also be performed.

The Rosemount 3051Pro uses built-in diagnostic features to help identify issues in electrical circuits and impulse lines. It can identify issues that may cause the control system to receive erroneous measurements, which could trigger the system to make decisions that compromise safety and quality.
