Recently, an sst-400 steam turbine provided by siemens energy for Qingyuan biomass cogeneration project of China energy construction investment company has been successfully connected to the grid and put into commercial operation.
The siemens energy project team cooperated with the customer to assist the owner to start the machine on December 16, 2021 and complete the grid connection on December 17, 2021, and successfully achieved the user’s goal of grid connection at the end of the project.
At present, each system of the unit operates stably and each index parameter performs well, which indicates that the project has successfully achieved the fastest delivery record of “360 day delivery + 90 day grid connection” of this type of model! This also proves once again that the sst-400 unit produced locally by siemens energy in China has a solid competitiveness among the same types of products in China.
In the process of project implementation, due to the impact of COVID-19, equipment production and user site construction are facing many challenges. Siemens Energy’s project team kept its promise, overcome difficulties and successfully delivered the complete steam turbine to the site on September 15, 2021. The product delivery was completed three weeks in advance, which won valuable time for the overall construction period of the project.
Siemens energy sst-400 steam turbine is produced and assembled by Siemens industrial turbine machinery (Huludao) Co., Ltd. all quality acceptance processes are in strict accordance with Siemens Energy German standards and requirements. On the basis of ensuring the product quality, the equipment realizes localized manufacturing, which not only ensures the product performance and optimizes the cost, but also shortens the on-site installation period, makes the maintenance of auxiliary equipment more convenient and improves the user’s responsiveness.
Qingyuan 40mW biomass cogeneration project is a green new energy project that uses forestry waste in Qingyuan County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province and its surrounding areas as fuel for power generation and heating. After the project is completed, it can consume 284000 tons of agricultural and forestry waste and provide 300 million kwh of green power. Compared with traditional thermal power, it can save 120000 tons of standard coal, reduce 330000 tons of carbon dioxide emission, 627 tons of sulfur dioxide emission and 1298 tons of nitrogen oxide emission, reaching the ultra-low emission environmental protection standard.
After the project is put into operation, it will also play a positive role in the comprehensive utilization of local straw, control environmental pollution, reduce the cost of heating enterprises, and promote the continuous increase of Finance and farmers’ income, which has important social and environmental benefits.
In the five years since 2017, siemens energy has successfully produced and manufactured many sst-400 units in China, and stably operated in many projects in Anhui, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Hebei, Jilin, Liaoning and other places, contributing to promoting the low-carbon transformation of energy in the field of biomass power generation and waste power generation.
