Through online remote real-time visualization and rapid tracing, quality inspection data archiving, AI production line, and industrial control machine backup, it ensures comprehensive improvement in safety management, equipment stability, and production efficiency.


Specifically, the quality inspection data archiving scheme utilizes industrial high-speed cameras to capture images of various production processes, ensuring that there is no omission of detailed records in automated processes. These massive unstructured image data can be efficiently archived through distributed storage. At the same time, the Hikvision cloud disk system can achieve data lifecycle management capabilities such as retrieval, migration, and expiration deletion for billions of data, and identify anomalies through secondary data utilization and AI assistance, assist in process optimization, and improve production capacity; On the other hand, using AI technology to monitor production processes ensures the continuity and efficiency of production activities, while significantly improving product quality, reducing defect rates and customer complaints by standardizing operational behavior. As for the backup plan for the industrial control computer, the incremental backup strategy is regularly executed to ensure real-time protection of the operating system and critical files. In the event of a system failure, the backup mechanism can respond quickly and recover to the working state before the failure in just 30 minutes, effectively reducing production interruption time and ensuring the continuity and stability of production.

Mr. Zhu Zhenyu shared that Hikvision can provide comprehensive storage solutions covering single machine single control, distributed storage, and backup all-in-one machines, as well as innovative AI storage solutions, to build a solid foundation for data support in the manufacturing industry. Among them, the single machine single control series focuses on high cost-effectiveness, supports IoT disks, and has a single device capacity of 1PB, which can meet the data storage needs of five factory product lines in small and medium-sized manufacturing industries; Distributed series of data storage with linear expansion of capacity performance, supporting EB level capacity of billions of data scales; A set of AI data storage series products supports both online and offline storage, centralized archiving of data without copying, higher space utilization, more secure data, and supports full lifecycle management of data.



Mr. Zhu Zhenyu illustrates the importance of data storage in enterprise manufacturing through two cases: long-term archiving and storage of unstructured data in battery factory production line processes, and factory quality inspection traceability systems. In the battery factory case, 59 industrial control machines from 17 production lines in the workshop generated diverse data, including vtdk SDU、SQB、execl、 Multiple formats such as text files generate 200-300GB of data per month on a single machine, with a total volume of up to 17TB per month. It needs to be stored for up to 8 years to ensure quality traceability. Therefore, 10 distributed storage devices were used, with over 10PB of storage space built. At the same time, intelligent clients were used to achieve automatic scheduled archiving of industrial computer data, which not only meets long-term storage needs but also facilitates quality traceability and big data analysis, enhancing the convenience and efficiency of data management.
In the example of the factory quality inspection traceability system project, with the continuous growth of business, new challenges have been posed to the factory’s capabilities in the fields of informatization, intelligence, and visualization, especially in the precise control of production processes, which has driven the need to build innovative factory information systems. Hikvision has achieved transparent management of the entire production, logistics, and sales process by integrating industrial cameras, distributed storage solutions, and intelligent data management platforms.
