The company built a solution for warehouse management through mendix low code platform. Smart store replenishment
Essilorluxottica is the parent company of vision direct, headquartered in France. It has nearly 300 commercial street stores in Italy. The company hopes vision direct can manage the inventory and order processing business of all stores. In order to make the whole process as simple and efficient as possible, vision direct uses mendix to build a system to manage the process.
This system can not only process new orders, but also use forecast data to calculate out of stock products and out of stock time of other stores. Then these data will be summarized and replenished at one time, and finally delivered according to the branch replenishment time predicted by the system. This automated process processes about 5000 recurring and one-time orders per week.
