Last September, the renderings of works from China’s “12 · Jian public welfare design exhibition” displayed at the Paris design week triggered new thinking on life aesthetics in the design industry. The concept of unlimited integration between people and the environment in the works reveals the development direction of life aesthetics in the future. A few months later, 16 art spaces with different themes were officially unveiled in Cuiyun mountain, Chongli. People are surprised to find that when life aesthetics is moved into the ice and snow tourism town, and when design and technology collide with each other, the ideal place for physical and mental habitation is close at hand.
Nowadays, short, frequent and fast “micro vacation” has become a new popular trend. People are eager to heal their body and mind with a high-quality micro vacation and escape from the fast-paced urban life. As the “back garden of Kyoto”, Chongli, with continuous mountains and dense forests, is undoubtedly an ideal resort. Especially after undertaking international ice and snow sports events, Chongli is being recognized by more people. In order to improve the travel quality of Cuiyun mountain, one of the famous tourist attractions in Chongli, the 12th public welfare design exhibition was jointly sponsored by Chongli people’s government. Closely adhering to the theme of “design for people’s livelihood”, it gathered the wisdom of 23 well-known domestic designers and design teams to jointly draw a blueprint of life aesthetics in Aoxue town of Cuiyun mountain.
It is Mr. Lin Zhenzhong, the artistic director of the project, who is from the head of the design company of Sino US STID group, who will promote the 12 · Jian public welfare design exhibition to the Paris design week and connect it with the world. “I hope to let the world see the northern home lifestyle and travel style, and let the world see China’s life aesthetics and cultural heritage.” Mr. Lin Zhenzhong said.
The beauty of detail makes “invisible greatness”
Mr. Lin Zhenzhong has more than 30 years of experience in the design industry and has been committed to aesthetic culture research and education for many years. In addition to the identity of art director of this project, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong is also one of the designers. The application of aesthetics is incisively and vividly reflected in his design work “green and dripping”.
“Seeing the great wall of the Ming Dynasty surrounding Cuiyun mountain, with lush vegetation and green and moist in the distant mountains, this artistic conception and beauty from nature inspired my creative inspiration.” From the green mountains described by literati to the red walls and green tiles in the Forbidden City buildings, “Cui” is a representative Oriental color that has lasted for thousands of years. We hope that this work can bring our vitality to the forest. In addition, the designer adds Oriental elements such as ink, landscape and so on, so as to add a simple and Zen Oriental aesthetic atmosphere to the works. When the window is covered with snow in winter, as long as you open the door, you will see the green full of healing energy, as if you break the gap between time and space, and as if you walked into the forest, you can hear the chirping of summer insects. In addition to the bold use of color, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong’s handling of details is also amazing, especially the persistence of wall aesthetic details.
It is not difficult to create a sense of beauty through design, and it requires wisdom to perfectly integrate essential functional items into the design. For example, the switch panel and terminal power distribution are a part of the room, which are related to the rational control of the circuit and the safe use of electricity. Their quantity, location, appearance and texture selection will affect the aesthetic feeling of the design. Schneider Electric Yishang series switch panels are cleverly integrated with Mr. Lin Zhenzhong’s classical Oriental aesthetic design style with square and simple frameless design.
Even for the concealed works of terminal power distribution, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong also requires an integrated terminal power distribution solution including Tianlang series power distribution box and Schneider Electric resi9 series household miniature circuit breaker with both functionality and aesthetics. These products constantly monitor the circuit in invisible places to effectively deal with short circuit, overload or leakage, Protect the circuit and avoid damaging household appliances, which brings comprehensive safety protection to the house.
“What is invisible is great.” Mr. Lin Zhenzhong said, “the more small details that don’t look impressive, they will become the key to the overall visual sense and living experience. A good designer should be able to see and grasp each ‘invisible’ design focus.” Not only Mr. Lin Zhenzhong, but also the designers of 16 rooms have chosen Schneider Electric’s diversified switch panels and safe and reliable power distribution solutions, so as to achieve the spatial effect that can perfectly fit the personal design style and the reliable guarantee of household power safety.
“Smart home” achieves sustainable beauty
In addition to the presentation of design aesthetics, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong hopes to create a comfortable living experience for users in terms of function. “This is a place for vacation, not a model room. It is a place that pays attention to life and functions. I sincerely hope that every passenger who lives in my room will be willing to return here every year.” Therefore, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong hopes to build a warm, intelligent and sustainable house and bring you a different living experience.
Based on the application of Schneider Electric wiser smart home system, Mr. Lin Zhenzhong realized his ideal “smart home”. Wiser smart home system covers four application scenarios: scenario control, comfortable environment, security and energy optimization. It can not only interconnect smart home devices, but also connect the whole community. It plays a key role between smart home and smart community. Remote control and real-time cloud communication of smart devices can be realized through mobile phones or smart speakers, So as to bring more safe and convenient experience to residents.
“Wiser is like our nervous system, knowing what we know and think.” Mr. Lin Zhenzhong said that the scene can be flexibly set in Schneider Electric wiser smart home system. The residents of “green and dripping” only need to tap their mobile phone to activate the preset scene. Besides, the system can also adjust the room temperature intelligently. No matter whether it is very cold or hot in summer, Wiser has already adjusted the comfortable room temperature in advance.
With the help of wiser smart home system, families can also get various safe living experiences. The intelligent smoke detection alarm can detect the smoke in the house at all times, and link the exhaust fan and gas valve to deal with the gas leakage at home in time. The movable intelligent water immersion sensor can eliminate the potential safety hazards caused by water leakage.
In addition to making the house more comfortable and personalized, it is more efficient, energy-saving and sustainable. Schneider Electric wiser smart home system can intelligently track the energy consumption of various devices through sockets and monitor the load of the whole house. Through this design, wiser can help users conduct global coordination and Optimization in combination with the power consumption of the whole house, reduce energy consumption and realize more efficient and sustainable operation.
Advanced innovative technology can protect the safety of living space and reduce the use cost of energy. Mr. Lin Zhenzhong built this “smart home” through Schneider Electric wiser smart home system, which not only improves the quality of life, but also creates an environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle. “Thinking about sustainability is not only the responsibility of a brand or a designer, but also the efforts of each of us. The harmonious coexistence between man and nature is an eternal life aesthetics.” Mr. Lin Zhenzhong said.
